How to keep it happy
Bright, indirect light, out of direct sun. Keep lightly moist with filtered or rain water and high humidity, dry air browns the edges. Pet safe.

This Calathea Lancifolia also commonly called the Rattlesnake comes with dark green leaves that have unique ripples. Like all Calathea plants, the leaves adjust as the sun rotates throughout the day. Calathea Plants, native to tropical South and Central America, Africa, and the West Indies, are grown primarily for their beautiful, brightly colored, upright, oval leaves. Exhibits strappy, spotted leaves and deep purple undersides.
How it arrives
Potted, packed by hand at the nursery, and shipped Monday to Friday, usually within a day or two of your order. In cold months we tuck in a heat pack; in a hard freeze we hold your order and send a card that says it is on the way.
