Every plant we send is chosen to be forgiving. You don't need a green thumb - you need a windowsill and a little attention now and then. Here's the short version.
Light. Most of our plants are happiest in bright, indirect light - near a window, out of harsh afternoon sun. A few (snake plant, ZZ, pothos) will forgive a dim corner. If leaves stretch and pale, they want more light; if they scorch, give a little less.
Water. The most common way to love a plant to death is overwatering. Wait until the top inch of soil is dry, then water until it runs through the bottom. Most of ours are happy every 7-10 days. When in doubt, wait a day.
Warmth. Room temperature is perfect. Keep them away from cold drafts and hot radiators.
The card that came with it. Every plant ships with its meaning on the front and a note on how to keep it well. Hold onto that card - it's the quick reference for your specific plant.
