How to keep it happy
Bright light with a few hours of direct sun. Water deeply only when the soil is completely dry, every two to three weeks, less in winter, in gritty, fast-draining soil. Overwatering is the only real risk.

The Aloe Vera is a stemless succulent with thick and fleshy leaves that are lined with small teeth making it a great ornamental, low maintenance indoor plant which blooms a yellow tubular flower in the summertime. Native to the Arabian Peninsula, this plant is widely used around the world as its leaves are considered to be antimicrobial and has been used to treat burns as a topical medication.
How it arrives
Potted, packed by hand at the nursery, and shipped Monday to Friday, usually within a day or two of your order. In cold months we tuck in a heat pack; in a hard freeze we hold your order and send a card that says it is on the way.
